Hi,
I’d prefer to keep things simple. But, like you, I have many interests.
Among these, this project focuses on two of my favorite modes of expression: visual thinking and wordplay. These appear in this Substack project in the form of weekly illustrations and cartoons, containing original aphorisms.
The voice and central image of this work come from one of my personas and friends, Tex. He’s been sharing his wisdom, wisecracks, and wit with me for many years now.
We agreed to share his point-of-view here on Substack beginning April 1, 2022: a new weekly post every Friday morning at about breakfast time.
Beginning in December 2024, we agreed to offer more benefits of a paid subscription to those who might be interested in supporting and seeing our work continue.

BENEFITS OF A SPECIAL FOUNDERS SUBSCRIPTION
When you sign up for a special founders subscription, you will receive all of the benefits of an annual paid subscription, PLUS you will receive an original signed cartoon from Tex suitable for framing and bragging about.
